My horse, Mack, was sore in his hind end. He hung his head, he was slow and unhappy. He didn’t want to go anywhere. While riding him, I could tell he wasn’t able to carry himself nor collect during downward transitions from canter to the trot like he used to. Without me specifying, Karen zeroed in on my horse’s back. The remote adjustment she did had the effect of night and day! My horse’s mood brightened. He was happy, forward, light and wanted to move! It was very clear to me that Karen’s work helped him. Mack had been diagnosed at the vet school with Lumbo-sacral stenosis through Musculo-skeletal ultrasound. He was given sacro-iliac injections of cortisol. Karen assessed my horse remotely afterwards. She was able to tell that the top of his neck was stiff which I confirmed. She was right about this! I had noticed in fact the area was swollen, he had been shaking his head and rubbing his neck on the ground. Karen told me the effects the SI injections had on my horse physically and emotionally. She give me detailed information on what Mack was feeling and thinking. Mack said to her that he “felt like he was missing a piece of his back” where the injections were given, he “didn’t like what the doctor did to him,” and “didn’t feel right.” Karen assessed my horse’s dietary needs and recommended changes to his supplements.  With Karen’s unique ability to hear and communicate with horses she gives my horse a voice and a way for me to reach him. With her help I can understand what’s going on with my horse and what he is going through so I can do my best for him. I want to do everything I can to help my horse and I will continue to ask Karen to treat him.

I noticed he (my gelding) wasn’t as grumpy after you worked with him- he was much happier!

I rode him the day after you worked with him. He was relaxed and eager, not stiff at all, able to hold his head and neck comfortably, collect nicely, and also stride out with ease. It was a huge change! Thanks!

I am speechless. Two weeks of having Karen work with my horse and he is SO relaxed and has stopped cribbing…. New animal totally.

I was having problems with a dog I rescued. He was very aggressive to people and I had decided to have him put down. I called Karen to have her work with me to prepare me for euthanizing the dog, and she suggested that maybe we try working with the dog first. I never thought that would be possible, but in two sessions working with the dog, he was a changed animal. Not totally, but enough that follow-up work with a good trainer saved his life, made him into a very workable and compatible dog, and saved me from having to putting him to sleep.

My puppy was insane. Lab/Springer cross at the peak of adolescence when I adopted her, and she was disobedient to the max and would bite to the point of drawing blood. I asked Karen if she could do some work for her, and within minutes, she was a transformed animal. Still adolescent, sure, but she became trainable and trustworthy very quickly. I was impressed and actually shocked, but whatever she did worked.

I rode Mack lightly today and he was much better than he was last week!! What you did made him happier to move and do. He wanted to move and do for me. So thank you again my great friend!!

My adopted dog had no self-confidence. She came from an abusive home, and was scared of everything and everybody. I had Karen do a couple of sessions for her, and she was changed in a way that allowed her to accept the love of her new family and recover from her trauma past very quickly.

I was letting someone ride my Quarter Horse gelding for some time. I noticed that he started spooking at a certain place where the trail led into a big field. He had never spooked there before. I asked Karen to check into it, and she told me that the horse took great pride in placing his feet safely and securely, and that the new rider had made him gallop in the field of high grasses with animal burrows in it where he did not have control of his foot placement. The horse felt very insecure and unsafe with that, and did not want to go into the field again. When I asked the other rider about the field, he did admit that he had been rough riding my gelding there. I told him that he could no longer ride my horse, and then Karen was able to reduce the animal’s anxiety about it so that I could work him back to riding in that location with confidence.
